Let's just say that nothing happens by chance, God always knows whats going to happen. It's not by chance that you're asking this question, God wanted you to.

the 12 apostles were the first people that Jesus asked to follow him in spreading the Gospel so they were chosen because they had been with Jesus the longest of all the disciples followers I would jumped at the chance to walk and learn off the Jesus himself for I would of have not taken so long to find him now

The disciples had a choice, as did the prophets after them.
Saul alias Paul probably got the hard push.
The disciples may have been from the same or neighboring village.
According to A&E History channel.
I think they were chosen, but could have refused if they had wanted to.

many times verse 9 is taken out of context , neglecting to point the verses in the previous and after it. it is the the instant context, “yet ?don't be suggested as ?Rabbi; for One is your instructor, and you're all brothers. 9 “do no longer call every person in the international your father; for ?One is your Father, He who's in heaven. 10 “don't be suggested as ?leaders; for One is your chief, this is, Christ.” Jesus is coping with a lots diverse concern. he's putting forward the hypocrisy of the Pharisees and instructors of the regulation. In verses 6 and seven which at the instant precede the rejection of the titles of honor, Jesus explains in what experience His rejection is meant: "and that they love the area of honor at feasts and the terrific seats interior the Synagogues, and salutations contained accessible places, and being suggested as rabbi." here Jesus is commenting on their superiority complexes. they have effectively set God aside and positioned themselves in His place; subsequently the comments on being humbled and being exalted. Bible Christians call their ministers "Pastor." Pastor skill shepherd. In John 10:14-sixteen Jesus says, "i'm the solid shepherd. i understand my own and my own understand me, simply by fact the father is acquainted with me and that i understand the father, and that i lay down my existence for the sheep. and that i produce different sheep that are actually not of this fold. i ought to convey them additionally, and that they're going to heed my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd." If we reason that we won't be able to call a clergyman Father simply by fact we "have one Father who's in heaven," then do we no longer additionally reason that we won't be able to call a minister Pastor simply by fact there is fullyyt "one Shepherd?" keeping apart and grabbing carry of one scripture verse is volatile. it particularly is deceptive or maybe risky. Even a good and properly-intentioned Christian can subconsciously bend a verse to examine his or her very own needs. that's important to understand the Bible as God meant. St. Augustine as quickly as suggested, "no longer what one scripture says, yet what all of Scripture says." we can take it a step added and say, no longer what Scripture says yet what Scripture skill.

It's very hard to 'choose' someone who is not ' willing'
