I don't have rhuematoid arthritis but i do have Raynauds disease. This affects mostly my hands but now has started affecting me feet/toes. It mainly seems to bother me in the cold weather or when I am stressed. My fingers (thumb, pointer and middle finger) seem to be the most affected when it happens...goes "cold" and numb feeling. If i am out in the cold air and get that feeling and not able to "warm" them up, they get extremely stiff and cold and start aching very bad. It happened the other day and when i was finally able to warm up, they ached and hurt the rest of the day....good luck with yours! My doc did say that extreme cases they were able to get you on some meds...but the meds side effects might be worse than the diseasse!
