How can North American muslims practice Islam here but not practice Islamic laws?

If stoning isnt Islamic then why are people stoned in Islamic countries? Do a search, there are many videos that you can view with your own 2 eyes.

Its also not legal to not let women practice a religion in this country and its also not legal to force a women to marry someone in this country but for some reason they still practice that part of the religion even though those aspects are in direct violation of the charter of human rights. I have no issues with Islam I have issues with any religious freedom in my country overruling our basic rights. We need to better define what is human rights vs what is religious freedom, i.e. if j witness refuse medical help I think this violates human rights and that should be our first priority and not thier religious right to choose. If we better defined this principle there would be no room for arguments and the only people who would suffer would be lawyers and who cares about them.

When something is Islamic, Melvin, it is in the Quran, if it is not in the Quran it is not Islamic. Convert or be executed is not supportred advised, or tolerated by the Quran. The Quran teaches that there is no complusion in religion. You should read the ENTIRE Quran, to know what Muslims believe and real Shariah law. Stoning is not Islamic Law it is a Pagan tradition. The Quran talks about Pagans trying to stone Abraham, stoning is a bad thing in Islam. You mean Flogging. The Law God has laid out for us is simple and following a countries domestic laws doesn't interfere with that. Adultery is not punishable by death and their is no punishment for converting.
