I've been hurt for the last 3 months and wanna get back into working out. Is P90X a good program for a beginner to use. Or is it for a more advanced person?

from looking at this, i cannot recommend for beginner...also if you're over 40 (definitely 50) it might be rough

but, it appears that you could work at your own level and pace...just take it easy...if you're in pain the next day or two after the workout, slow it down...don't do it as hard as they are on the dVDs

P90x is a pretty hardcore workout regimen that requires dedication. HOWEVER, It is super hard to be 100% dedicated. I think you should try your hardest to do the workout everyday. Some days, you won't or you'll find an excuse not to...but you really have to push yourself. The more and more you do it, the easier it will get and you will feel more comfortable making it a routine. Trust me, it gets easier!! But if it helps, put up post it's with motivational quotes around your house (bathroom mirror, closet) to remind and motivate you. Cut out pictures of what you want to look like to inspire you. If you feel this is your last chance, give it all you got! :) Good luck!
