I've already asked this question and no one answered, but how does the Black American Express Card arrive at your door. I've heard it arrives in a bullet proof box with a security escort and alot of other extreme measures are taken to make sure it arrives safely at your house once you accept the invitation. Is any of this true? And just wondering if any of you actually have seen one?

My understanding is that it's delivered via regular mail (or FedEx/UPS). No security guard, armored car, or anything like that. Here's a picture of the box:

I have not seen a Centurion ("black card") in person myself, but know two people who have.

I read somewhere that it arrives at your door just like any other mail, unless you have security bring mail from the box. Unfortunately I have not seen one.

Think about it- who would SHOOT a card! It probably just comes with delivery confirmation, just like all credit cards should. I mean, do you consider the FedEx dude to be an "escort"?
