We can bring up our rural areas through providing education to the people. It's also very important that the literate people don't misuse their inocense.Yes ,land acquisation is a silent killer for farmer. It's also very important that the education system dont introduce the western culture in rural areas which has spread in the cities.Likewise, it's also very important that villagers are well aware of the new technology which could make their work easier.

THe land that is fertile and gives the farmer his daily wages is at present being given to hungry industrilists by greedy politicians who have the biggest pockets. Without the farms / land and farmers who will feed the millions of people in India and World wide.
Why not give away parts of the desert and other barren land, I am sure big industry bosses can afford to have all the necessary water etc brought in by pipes and canals to service them and surrounding areas. Making use of all the land properly instead of cheating and stealing land from uneducated farmers.

If Agricultural land is purchased by industrial user for industry than area about 5 times of land required be developed & 20% land of each villager be taken so that 80% land remains with the farmers & they too can enjoy the fruits of developments.

We have to work out a better deal for our rural community.I would think that to retain the rural areas with their nacent fresh air and water and simple minded people we have to pay better prices for their produce so that they will be inclined to continue farnming and earn adecent living. Is it not out rageous that we are prepared to pay quite ahefty amount for ther aspects of conforts like car, house, home appliances cloth etc where as we will grumble if we have to pay more for the grains and farm products which are basic for our exisistance. It is worthwhile to think in line of reservations in education, and jobs for rural and farmer community [espeially small farmers] instead of caste based system.

I think the best answer would come from a farmer. But consider: Without farm land where would the food grow? Where would cattle graze?
