Ok, as the title states I am really good friends with this girl, we go out shopping, dinners and movies. As of lately this has happened increasingly, she said she would love to spend a lot of time with me in the coming weeks. In my opinion, I think we are a bit too close then just good friend (but then again I could be wrong), smacking each other on the butt, even in public places. We cuddle up with each other, etc, it has much gotten past the point where the "traditional" flirting would go and you can't really see the signs. But as many of you would suggest, ask her out. But it isn't as simple as that, much more complicated, by doing so could ruin everything. So I am not going all out by saying that, even if that is your only other suggestion. Is there anything else I can do, I don't know in terms of flirting at this point in time!

Thanks

In my opinion that's how it should be :) well... I always have the same kind of problem when I am close friends with a male, I always want to grow something bigger from that relationship and to tell the truth it never had worked out yet... I kind of told them about my intentions something like "I think/I'm afraid I like you more than just a friend" and the result was that they didn't feel the same but the friendship didn'r ruin. I am still friends with the guy... maybe you can just hint her, don't tell what you feel but just ask her as you are curious can you guys date, you can suggest her to try in that direction and see what happens at least for fun... if nothing better turns out then you guys can go back and be good friends again.

and on the other hand, you have to decide for yourself what is the more valuable thing for you.... to have her as a friend or as a girlfriend? Good Luck! :)

i'm sorta in the same situation as you. My best friend and i hang out all the time and it's like we're a couple. She calls me all the time and i'm the first person she calls to hang out with. She'll flirt with me, hold my hand, lean her head on my shoulder.. stuff like that doesn't seem like just plain old friends...

The thing is i don't want to ruin the friendship, and only if she likes me back will I make a move.. The thing is, I'm not sure if she likes me back. yes she'll show interest, but then she tells me she's going on a date with another dude & doesn't show as much interest...

If she's giving you all the attention and if your flirting back, you should just try kissing her and take it from there. that's what i did with my old friend that became my girlfriend.

it could be love...or it could be a disaster in the making. I really think you should wait to see what she does, because like have said to others you don't want to turn a really good friendship into nothing right? Just ride it out sweetie it does sound like a really nice relationship but i don't know

If you are close to her next time, just say "i'm really glad i met you" and then kiss her. And then, it will be too late to go back...you can only move forward. Since you want a relationship...that should be your next move. Otherwise, you'll just have to charge her to the game, playa.

Some people say that those who started off as friends, make the best marriage partners.

My boyfriend and I were in that stage for MONTHS before we bagan "officially" dating. Hold her hand, kiss her cheek or stare into her eyes.. see what she does.

Worse comes to worse just ask her plain out.. if she says she's not interested, just say you were confused.

You need to risk it and ask her on a date. Otherwise you'll never know.
