Save yourself now! Right now you are sinning! You are a bad bad person!!! What is God? What what what!!!! I'm so tired of this. Aren't you guys? I am Christian. And a strong one at that. Some people have God all wrong. "Oh I believe in God, so I'm good." And to me, that's really not true. The Devil believes in God too. And He's not exactly saved now is he? Now, I'm probably going to get some hate answers here, but Freedom of speech. Go ahead. Power to you i guess, but these so called Christians bombarding others with, You're going to Hell! You're sinning right now! RIght NOw!! Is sooooooo not God's way. It is your will to follow God. It is your FREE will to accept Him into your Heart. So I love God, And I love my beliefs of what I've learned in church, in reading the Bible, in fellowship, but I don't think I should be made fun of or yelled at for it. People calling Christians names is just as bad as any insult, racists, sexists, anything. We are Free. Why can't this be appreciated?

I respect your question as well as your thoughts but I must state if your comfortable with your understanding of God and your religion you should think about how God is just. Really examine this word "just". If we are just we are very understanding of the things around us not just ourselves. Now do you feel God understands a man who insults others? Yes of course God does. I person based on life experiences and surroundings will make them feel and do things differently from others. Now to not be bothered by this all you need is a little understanding. There is not much you can do to change a person. I have always stated the only way to influence them is through experience. So if I wanted to try any sort of effort in changing a person's negative ways I will trust in the divine to be able to allow me to offer "x" person an experience that will allow them reflect in hopes of a change.

That's what freedom of religion is all about. You are absolutely free to believe whatever you like. And you should be free from harassment over it....until you start trying to force your beliefs on others.
That's the case on this forum. There are so many trying to do exactly that, that it's become a kneejerk reaction for people to lash back at religious questions right off the bat. Kind of a preemptive strike. It's not right, but I believe that's what is happening.

Now, it is not Christians per se that are to be ridiculed, but the fact that they are willing to believe something that is demonstrably false. To be an Abrahamic believer of any sort, given the evidence and the sordid character of each of those texts, requires either a deficiency in intellect or honesty or both. This is not meant as an attack, just the straight, evidence based truth. If you're tired of hearing that, fix it.

You and I and everybody else here, to the best of my knowledge, are participating in this Yahoo.answers voluntarily. Nobody is forcing you to join the craziness.
I compare this site to a 24/7 on-line mud-wrestling session. This is an open and almost no-holds-barred public forum.
As you object to people calling Christians names or statements made by others, so people object to your statements.
But I have found that occasionally people ask very sincere questions and it is an opportunity to show forth the love of Christ.

First of all you are in the religion and spirituality section that's what up with all the religious questions, second of all anyone can come here, those who are religious, those who are spiritual and the Godless alike. And yes we are free, others have the right to express their selves just like you just did whether you like it or not.

I agree. We should respect each other as human beings. I have never judged anyone on the basis of whether or not they believe in God. It's their choice! I'd just as soon not be called stupid, however, because I'm actually very intelligent! That pulls my chain more than anything, lol.

How is this sinning? If you get 1 person to open up the Bible and ask Jesus Christ into their heart and life . Wouldn't that be worth all these religious questions?

People are free to do what they want. some people who know their religion 100% won't harm anyone, insult anyone or do anything bad to anyone.
everyone(believers) will go to hell for a period of time to be punished for the sins they did here in this life, and then they'll go to heaven(which has different floors and levels).
