i know your always reading questions like this but here is my situation, i have a crush on my asstanct manger at work. he is 6 years older then me. ive liked him for over a year! he is single and we talk, i get confused over weather he likes me in that way or not? he is mean to me, but only in a teasing way. i asked him "why are you always mean to me. do you not like me?" and he said " no i do like you, if i didnt ,you would know coz i would ignore you or get you to do shitty jobs and stuff" immature answer i know. but so i thought, then is he mean to me in a flirting way? he is nice to me sometimes, sharing his food on break when im hungrey : ) stuff like that.

aww i get confused. do you think he likes me but he thinks im too young for him? or is it coz he is asstanct manger?

i should move on? aye ?
i just get confused when im working with him because he sometimes gives signs that he likes me.

although i could be taking it the wrong way?

Even if he likes you, he can never say anything. Have you ever heard the term "sexual harassment". You must make the first move or there will never be anything. Ask him out for a bite or something innocent outside if work. Let things progress until you are sure that he likes you. But remember, that he may be afraid because he is your boss. If you don't like what he does, you could cry "sexual harassment" and there goes his life. You must take the first step because he can't.

Well the only way a question no matter if in your mind or in words can be answered is if it is firstly asked then you approach the resolution for this puzzle. This might make you feel a bit scared and a bit worried about the answer that you might get but don't let that over whelm you rom asking him. How would you like it that he is your future and you let it slip away from you like water falling through your open palm. Go up to him and talk to him also you should tell him that you like him.I think that he likes you and that's why he actually hangs with you and tease you its like lovers play. Go get your man he might have a problem working together with you but you need to overcome this because all you have to do is make sure that your performance at work is professional and everything is great where work is concerned.

I have tis experience too, we were always stuck together, even at luch, we shared so much time together that our manager needs to seprate us, but in the end , it does not mean anythng, frankly speaking, just leave it as it is, and things will turn out how it should turn out, just relax and act naturally.

Don't get involved with a manager at work. If it didn't work out (which is most likely) he'd make your life a living hell and you'd have to try to avoid him. It would just be a mess. Find someone you won't have to see every day if it didn't work out.

Yes, move on and spare yourself further heartache and trouble. I've been there and can tell you this path is one that just leads further and further down a road you do NOT want to go!!! Good Luck!!!

i agree with betty, he does like you, but he's too shy or something to make the first move. maybe because he doesn't want to compromise his asst. mgr. position by asking a colleague out.

you asked already. he said he likes you. give up what? he's ur boss only nothing more. if he's mean to you though, you might tell him that you'd prefer he be nice instead. that's a start. peace.
