Let us assume that I am very sure of my faith, NO DOUBTS !! I am believing in truth.
Let us also assume you are of a different faith/religion which without a doubt cannot doctrinally agree.
The correct answer is NO. But the question I desire to explore is....WHY ?....what causes us to believe so strongly,...are we, blind ? Is this God's plan? Could you have converted The apostle Paul to a different faith ? Could you convert the Pope to be a protestant ? could you convert your dad? why not ? IS THIS GODS PLAN?

Please read the question carefully....do not comment about conversion, but about why we are so resistant to change where are beliefs are concerned. Thanks

Only the work of the Holy Spirit convicting your heart will make you convert, people can't do it.
So if your question/assumption is correct, then why do thousands of people everyday change their religious views? Why was I an agnostic for 20 some years and then became a Christian? If we are all set in our ways from the beginning, then why bother?

There are people out there who can reverse brain-washing, you can still be saved. There is no god, if there was he/she would have flooded out hypocritical christians a long time ago - you are being controlled but not by a supernatural being, rather the directors of the most successful business ever - the church.
The apostle Paul (if he existed - unlikely) and the Pope - CEOs of powerful companies and if you paid them enough they'd convert to Islam.

John Kenneth Galbraith said, "Faced with having to change our views or prove that there is no need to do so, most of us immediately get busy on the proof."
Believers in God, however, know that God has a track record of bursting through (or slipping surreptitiously in) to individual's lives (the apostle Paul, the Ethiopian eunuch). His plan is to confront us with the reality of our sin - never a pleasant experience - and to show that only trusting / believing in Christ can 'deal' with it. Paul's faith as a Pharisee could never agree doctrinally with the new Christian faith. But God converted him. The Ethiopian eunuch was keen on Hebrew scriptures, but until God sent Philip to him, he could not see how it pointed to Christ. So Christians would echo Paul's statement, "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes."

Instability is a characteristics of human being. Yes anybody can convert his beliefs at least in his mind. That's why doubt is there. On the other hand very body has got his own selfishness or may be his job urges him to insist on what he has to.

I think we feel so strong due to experiences. As far as converting you, no but I bet you could understand how people are getting the main ideals via different words. Consider the Holy Ghost, The holy Ghost works in different ways for different people right?

all thinking human beings can be converted. if you have "no doubts" then you are not capable of thought. i, for one, have more faith in humanity than that.
if you believe in truth, then by rights you should be converting on a regular basis. all these religions and all these truths out there. it's a wonder we know which way to turn!
the greatest problem to overcome is the individuals own weakness, and it takes him/her a lot of courage to overcome that.

Conversion is a change of heart and way you live.
It can only come from within.
No one else can convert you.
Others can teach you what they know.
You must learn for yourself.
If you pray, with real intent, the holy spirit will guide you.

Honestly, no. I dont try to convert anyone here.
I really dont see many people trying to convert anyone, except for atheists...they are the most aggressive de-vangelists.
