There was a guy named Pascal who answers this question beautifully (see wikipedia for Pascal's wager). Basically the idea is that we have to chose to either believe in God or not... if we (Christians) are right, our gain is infinite if we believe, yet we lose nothing if we are wrong. Choosing not to believe, you gain nothing, or at best there is some finite gain, if you are right. But if you're wrong, you lose everything... an infinite loss. Smart money's on believing in God, since you have to chose one side or the other.
So I don't think it likely that any Christian will ever find out there is no God... because if there's not, life ends at death, and there's no way for them to realize it. Religious belief is a no lose situation.
However, this is argument for why everyone should take the steps necessary to believe... not just say you believe, as God would see through that.

Great... now they're using pascal's wager.
"If god exists, it's infinitely better to believe, since you get heaven instead of hell for eternity. If he doesn't, it doesn't matter since you're dead anyway. So overall it's better to believe"
This is, of course, false.
Some of the problems with the argument:
* The implied assumption that god may exist (with a 50% probability, no less!)
* The assumption that there is an afterlife with a heaven and hell
* The assumption that the god cares about belief in him/her above all else
* The assumption that if you believe in a god, it will definitely be the same god that actually exists.
* The assumption that you lose nothing if it's false. You have lost a great deal, from time praying to a nonexistent entity (somebody mentioned just today praying several hours a day!!!) to morality (your god may ask you to hurt other people) and much more besides.
* The assumption that people can believe in something simply because it benefits them. Would you believe goblins exist for twenty bucks? Why not?
* The assumption that any god won't see through the "believing just to get into heaven" ploy.

According to Atheist view, we won't feel anything for we no longer will exist. If thats the case, we still didn't waste any time because at that point our life on would not have mattered and there is no loss. But if us christians are the ones who are right, then you Atheist are the ones with loss.
To be Atheist there is no gain but loss. To become christian, there is gain but no loss.

And when all you Atheist pass away and lay in your grave until Jesus comes back, and if you are lucky enough to be resurrected how are you going to feel? I think though that you are not going to be worried about Christians being right, you are going to be worried about your butts being thrown into the lake of fire to never ever exist again.

Let's reverse the scenario if you would allow me to do so. How would you feel, once you die, and find out there really was a heaven and hell and you end up in hell for not believing? How would that feel? See, it works both ways. I'm not judging you. I'm just making an observation. You have a right to believe what you want, the same as I do.

I would not want to be an atheist on judgement day!
I do not know what you are going to say when you are facing Almighty God and discover us Christians were correct!
Your fate will be sealed and you will be without any excuse because we told you but you would not listen.
It is never too late until you are passed away--will you accept Jesus before it is too late?

I will say it has been worth believing in God in my life. The good of the matter is I have nothing to lose. I wonder how you will feel when you will come to find that there is God after all?

I feel no reason to think one way or the other about death.I don't care if God made things in a day or billions of years.I don't care if someone believes or disbelieves any thing at all.Its all an illusion fellow..dont you know that? your in my dream. your a speck of dust in the air.ha ha. that makes about as much sense as what you just said.you dont mean anything at all.to me.your just an animal to me, since you dont believe in God you think your an animal. yes were primates, sure, but i KNOW I have a soul.its not just something I think with my brain,. I have done more and experianced more them most people spiritually. have experianced many religions.. just as you say. your an aitheist , so why do you even care enough to write down those words? I know why, you were taught and you fought.and wont to rebel.fine,OK. good for you, go for it. hate God, denie God, I dont care. thats your buisness not mine, we wont know anything about death till we die, simple ,why question death,I have faith that that opens me to the spirit of Gods guidance,. I have seen many miracles. I have the spirit of God in me.I have seen some supernatural miracles that were totally amazeing the doctor told my mother that when I was told by God to rub his feet while I was praying.to get dad out of that coma, he was in for nine days from a stroke.he had phnumonia . had a resusitator.to breath, may God burn me in hell if I am lieing. GOD.a Voice. told me to rub his feet, he opened his eyes. lived well for 11 more years I swear to God on my grave. on my eternal soul .may I burn in hell if I am lieing.this is true.I have seen some other miracles, I can mail you the doctors name who told my mother that this was a miracle because the nurse came in while I was rubbing his feet and said to stop because it might cause blood clots in his legs but I told her GOD told me to rub his feet and I was his son and to leave the room.and he came to from his coma. and theres a God and a spirit and you dont believe, well thats your problem not mine.but you cant tell me this childish stuff and expect me all of a sudden to say ow, OK I dont beleive ,?? sure buddy. sure, like I will listen to you say this simple stuff and then change my mind after all I have been thru? darn boy, thats absolutly strange, your well .... I am geting excited, but anyway .you keep on beleiveing what you wont to. your soul is eternal. you have eternity to do what you wont to with your soul.

I guess I'll feel surprised that I can think and talk when all I'm doing is rotting in the ground...since there wasn't no god, and apparently no grammar or punctuation gods either.
