"You shall know a tree by the fruit that it produces."
A test of whether one is or is not being 'governed' by the holy spirit is how their presence is received by others. The holy spirit inspires not only the person upon whom it is being received but also everyone with whom they come into contact, for the spirit must spill out from them like water.
A person who says they are filled with the holy spirit, who does not inspire others, is not filled with the holy spirit. A person who says they are filled with the holy spirit, whose words and actions and deeds do not beautify and/or pacify the world around them, is not filled with the holy spirit. Rev. MLK Jr. was filled with the holy spirit the day he gave his "I have a dream" speech. Abraham Lincoln was filled with the holy spirit on the day he wrote the Gettysburg address. The holy spirit is not a badge that needs to be shown, the message one passes along to others IS the badge that defines who is filled with the holy spirit.

The Holy Spirit can speak to you in many ways. The Holy Spirit can speak to you through a pastor, person, the Word of God, dream, vision, or speak verbally to you. But when the Holy Spirit speaks to you, sometimes what the Spirit says will challenge your faith and your flesh. At the same time, the Holy Spirit can come over you in such a way, that you will immediately know it is Him. But it takes a consistent prayer life and studying of the Word to place yourself in a position to discern His voice. For example, there was a story in the bible where God spoke from heaven concerning Jesus. Some of the people heard it and knew is what God right away. While other people heard it and said it had thundered. What's the difference. Those who knew it was God were close to Him.

Easy, it either contradicts the word of God or it does not. If you are "hearing" or doing something contradictory to the word then it is not the Holy Spirit guiding you; it is your corrupted flesh body....It is you. Yes, we are all sinners. We all fight our own battles daily. Being a Christian does not make you any less a sinner, just forgiven. We move on and strive to be pleasing to God. If we listen to God, through His Holy Spirit, we will remain on the path of righteousness. If we listen to ourselves, to our own desires, we will fail. It is a constant battle on earth, but the reward is with Him in heaven.

One time I heard this voice telling that they were gonna kill me. I thought it was god too, but then I realized that voices are natural prcessing of the human brain with the memory of voices and words put together. No god involved. It's simple!

There is no such thing as a "holy spirit", so ANY voice you hear inside your head is your own.
Deal with it.
