At 5'8" you sound like you're already at an ideal weight.
It could be that you're not exercising vigorously enough. You should walk fast enough to be slightly out of breath, and walk like that for at least 30 minutes at a time. If the two hours walking includes the normal walking around you do during the day, it doesn't count for weight loss.
Eat your main meal in the middle of the day, so you have a chance to work it off. Don't eat after 7pm, and try to keep active in the evening - get up at every ad break and do something if you're watching telly.
Keep a balanced diet, even with everything you've cut out - make sure you're getting adequate portions of protein, fruit, veg and carbs - and eat complex carbs like brown rice, wholewheat pastas and brown bread. Combining them with protein slows the release of energy and keeps you more sustained.
Avoid the frying pan and throw out the deep fat frier - use the grill instead. Try eating fresh food as much as possible - the fewer packets and processed foods in your diet, the better.
Try a quick detox and something to stimulate your digestive system, you'll metabolise your food better if your bowel is not sluggish.
Good luck, you should see some results within another week or two.

First of all, don't beat yourself up if you don't loss weight every time you step on the scales. Just keep on keeping on. Do your best, the weight will come off. Secondly, look up what diabetics eat, that is eating healthy, you will get use to the food, and find it tasty. That is eating normally. I think you're doing fine. Check out the carbohydrate count of bread (about 15 carbs found in Jewish Rye is good), that means one slice. Stay away from white stuff, rice, pasta, bread. There are allot of good choices out there. Meat is OK, so are the veggies. Don't forget the fruit, you will get use to it, addicted to it. A nice snack is a piece of low carb Peta bread (a wrap) with cold cuts in it, like roast beef. Overall I think you are doing fine. Peace

140# at 5'8" sounds pretty normal to me. Keep the chocolate and alcohol out of your life and see if there are changes to overall health and skin in another month. Two weeks is really not much of a go.
All the best!

You're starving your body of carbohydrates. When you cut anything out completely, your body learns to store it when it's passed through the stomach because it's aware it needs it but won't be getting it again! Your like a hamster in theory, storing food for the winter, get eating bread girl!!!!

That is very odd, upon calculation you should have lost some weight. The only suggesting i can give now is "thermogenetics". This is eating certain foods that will raise ur metabolism. Try drinking green tea(without sugar) and adding spicy chilli to your food.
Sorry that i wasnt that great of help to you

You need to either reduce your calorie intake further, or do exercise. A diet is no good without a really good workout. You essentially have to burn off more calories than you consume, and walking doesn't actually burn off that many calories - compared with swimming or running!

Two weeks is far too soon to expect results. Keep at it for two months and you should see a difference.
