I'm about to eat chocolate that i've had for a while. I dunno. less than an year. But theres like random milky spots over it. I dunno what it means but can i still eat it? thanks.

It will get stale if not wrapped, but usually it will get hot and then it gets waxy with a whitish film and an off taste. Are you still sitting there wondering whether or not to risk it? Go ahead and have a taste...it's not going to get any better.

chocolate is basically good forever, unless it gets too hot and then the sugars will bloom and create a white "mold" looking skin on the outside of the chocolate. if it is real coverture chocolate and not fake chocolate like product, you will be fine for a really long time

The spots are usually from moisture evaporating.


Should be good. Have never had chocolate that long.
