I've thought very hard on this subject. It seems that our great country always struggles with race issues, but if you study world art, you will find that there are many pictures of Jesus as different races. I have seen pictures of Jesus as an Asian, white, latino, african, etc. We all know that He was Jewish....However, what does it hurt if we personalize Jesus? I think it makes us feel closer to Him and I'm not sure if He minds. I always thought that it might be interesting if when we got to heaven that Jesus presented Himself to each of us as a race that we were most biased against. Now, that would be something!!!

My thoughts are that 80% of the time adult males and girls are in simple terms goofing and trolling on suitable here so I respond in a goofy trollish technique. yet then there is the choice 20% of the time adult males and girls incredibly desire a at the instant respond or are very particularly in simple terms naive. i will cope with this one as a naive question and say the description is barely symbolic. It additionally says he's going to have a double edged sword popping out of his mouth. Now that makes Jesus come off sounding stunning freakish (no offense meant) to have a literal sword, actual flames popping out of his eyes, and his voice feels like rushing waters. somebody greater advantageous gifted might many times factor out what the symbols seek for suggestion from although in Revelations the instruction manual is in simple terms approximately continuously all symbolic, if i'm now no longer incorrect. the two way, who ought to truly care what race, coloration, or gender God is? The Bible writers used the masculine kind on an identical time as discussing God although particularly God is a spirit with out gender, if i'm now no longer incorrect.

Because people in those regions were known to have darker features...egyptians and arabs are light featured people. Not to be rude, but why do white people think Jesus was white...it was how you were raised to believe what Jesus looked like.

Jesus was a Hebrew. One really ought to know that.
But the Egyptians could very well have been black. They were most certainly not Arabs, though.

TURN OFF THE SOAPS AND TURN ON THE HISTORY CHANEL. AND THEN WE CAN TALK.

All black people don't think that way. I have a lot of relatives that are of that ethnicity, and they don't think Jesus was black, but i don' think he was white...
Watch how you word your questions, that could be taken as a racist statement, and that would get you a bad rep, with most people.

Oh please.
Jesus may have been white, but he sure as hell wasn't blond or blue-eyed.
Many ancient Egyptians WERE black. Queen Nefertiti was black. Cleopatra contrary to popular belief however was white (she was Greek).

If you read the bible and believe it you will see that Jesus was a Hebrew. He was Jewish so he was probably reasonably dark.
Egypt did have a period of Nubian rule. Nubians were black.
You have a computer. Look it up.

If Jesus existed, he would look Semitic, short statured, swarthy, large nose...not the blonde blue eyed fay as he is often depicted.
Medieval painters began making him look more white bread to appeal to Europeans during the time of the Crusades....when the enemy was short statured, swarthy with large noses...
But that's a big if...
