I really don't see how this has anything to do with religion but...
I had breast reduction surgery and it was the best thing I could have done for myself. I had over 5lbs of breast tissue removed. Do you know how heavy that really is??? I could have lived with the physical pain of back and neck strain, the skin irritations and the overall discomfort, but I could no longer tolerate the sexual harrassment I had to deal with from a very young age. Men, especially in American culture, can be horrible and so disrespectful. I am now mentally and physically much healthier.
Triforce: WHAT are you talking about? Having your breasts reduced makes detecting cancer EASIER! I think you read the question wrong..

I don't think so. Breasts that are too large can cause a number of problems for the person, like back trouble. I don't know why this should be against the law. You should have made more of a stance on the subject.

No, some people need it. My sister had severe back pain and had spinal problems because she was too large. She had a reduction several years ago and is finally able to live a pain free life.

Well for some women they need to have it done. Breast enlargement should be against the law though.

If you are considering having it done....and someone is telling you not to....them my advice is that you should do what is right for you. It's your body and only you can make that choice.
I don't know what religion you belong to....but tummy tucks are legal....liposuction is legal....breast reduction is legal. Walk your path!

No. It often helps relieve back, neck and shoulder pain. Not to mention that the things are just heavy and in the way!
