My friend is getting married in June and has asked me to be a bridesmaid. We need to find good-looking, well-made wedding dresses and bride's maid dresses in the San Francisco Bay area. Please help and if you've bought one recently, tell us about your experience. Thanks!

Thanks to all of you for recommending David's Bridal, but their services leave much to be desired. We've found the dress, which will be made specially for her, at a little shop in San Mateo.

For your wedding dress, go to Bridal Galleria at Van Ness, I know that they are high end boutique but they have an area where they put their SALE items. They are very cheap but has the quality that you ma be looking for.
I bought my wedding dress there years ago for $100, it is ivory, very simple but the cut, and design are fabulous. So I bought it and with 2 days to go I beaded it myself day and night with french sequince and pearl, it turned out to be a beautiful dress.

I recently had visited David's Bridal in Colma, near Daly City. I was amazed at the large selection of inexpensive evening dresses, in addition to Bridal dresses available.

David's Bridal is having their $99 sale. I got my dress there for about $200 (it wasn't one of the ones on special). If she doesn't mind a dress that is one season behind (they all looked the same to me). Good luck
Oh, they also have $50-200 off all their other dresses.

Consider going into China town for bridesmaid dresses if shes okay with oriental theme I remember there were some gorgeous ones there. Also you could use the Chinese paper lanterns for decoration

I would like to think it was a mess up, if it was'nt... well then this just might be a sign of the times where the people of America are now moving to the point of "looking down" on our troops, and that is a clear sign of a county going to split. When people think our troops are "less human" then they are and think of them as "dirt people" with no "skool'in" then we have become a nation of jackass. Why do I keep thinking Roam? I was in a Walmart in 2005 with my Army "bomber jacket" on, it was cold, the jacket had my MOS and such on it, and some kid maybe 22 with one of those German uniform uppers on came over and spit on me...... Turn walked away, got to love freedom! Yea people suck. I think in my life time we will see America get "broke" not money wise but military wise, the Demos have made our troops look evil, they have damed the war and everyone who would serve, this shock wave is going to be around for a while, the crap thing is if and when a demo gets in office he or she will not end the war, they may end up to cause more death on our side. We need to dust off the court papers that have "treason" on the top and start useing them. You people who serve open your mouths!

I got my wedding dress at ebridal.com. It was $100 shipped and it was awesome! You send them your measurements (get a pro to do it) and they make the dress for you, it fit me like a glove. When I was walking down the aisle, I could hear people saying stuff like oh my god its gorgeous and I love her dress, which just made me cheese even harder. They have a lot to choose from and auction them off on ebay for even cheaper.
