I downloaded it 2 days ago...so it's still free. Make sure you download the "Basic" version, NOT the "pro" version.

I don't know if they are free anymore. I actually am a member of limewire. They give you choices, such as 1 year or life time. I bought lifetime so I don't ever have to worry about paying again. I've at least downloaded enough to have gotten my moneys worth. So if you plan on downloading for a long time or many many songs then go for life time if you can afford it that is. 1 year goes by very fast then there will be songs you like I'm sure even after a year from now. Go to www.softpedia.com and in the search box at the top type in limewire note that you can only download the normal version if u want pro download it off limewire.

After downloading the setup run it with your net on because it is anet based setup, files will be downloaded and lime wire will be installed on your PC. (Note close all programs before running this setup)

First of All...LIMEWIRE is hard spyware...it will demolish your computer system. My humble request NOT TO USE THIS SOFTWARE AT ALL.....
Better to use Bittorrent software or more better buy a affordable CD/DVD.
