Happiness is a state of being. It can be affected by success, money and relationships. But it also independent of those things. Because of this people that place the source of their happiness in money, success, and relationships can be easily made unhappy with the changes around them.

Thats where self-esteem begins to play a large role in the happiness or unhappiness of most all human beings. With a bit of wisdom one learns that we have little if any control of the enviroment around us. What we do have the ability to control is how we react to these constant changes. That's why someone who receive his happiness from giving can be almost endlessly happy, because the ability to give and the needs of others will always be there. For that very reason successful marriges can be a great source of joy and happiness, when two people consistantly give to and meet the needs of each other.

So if you are happy getting married that is good and normal. But if ones happiness is based in being married, where will that person be if divorced? If you value success and wealth, how do you manage when the economy collapses? These are fundimental questions that every person is faced with, and the choice is everyones to make.

Happiness is when I don't have to worry about anything, whether it is work, friends, or anything else. Happiness is when I am solely focused on myself the others around me and I don't have a single care in the world. I am happy when I get a good grade. I am happy when I am having fun and spending time with the people I love. I think true happiness comes from being worry free, and being content with who you are and what you have. For some people, having money allows them to do what they want, and so they think that by having money, they are happeir. Others are happy helping others because they know they are making a difference. Either way, happiness is something very rare, and should be cherished when found (again). Happiness is something that all humans are born with, and exists in children, because they don't have to deal with the problems in adulthood. As we grow up, we lose that happiness because we become engulfed in the problems concerning work, lifestyle, and society.

Happyness is a temporary feeling of being satisfied. Whereas, peace is a permanent feeling of being content. Peace comes from within, by avoiding jealousy, being content of whatever you have. It is very hard. But given serious thought this thing can be achieved. Once you achieve peace, you will never long for anything. Example ! Me. I was a completely different man even a year ago. Then I fought a enormous battle with me. With reasona and counter-reasons and I came to my senses. Today I am a complete peaceful man. I do not hit back if hurt. I have seen people later expresses their unhappiness of hurting me.

Happiness is harmony with the Creator, then harmony with others around one. We don't grow by pleasing and helping ourselves -- we grow by vying with each other to open up a wonderful life to everyone else.
