YES. In some belief systems it is called "setting the matrix". You wake up in the morning and view very clearly how your day will go. If done so clearly and concisely, your day can actually unfold as you've visualized it. This was addressed in the film, "What the Bleep Do We Know?"
Athletes who have been described as being "in the zone" are actually visualizing the play before it happens. Basketball players at the free throw line visualize the ball hitting "nothing but net" before they release it. I know a waitress who decides exactly how much (in tips) she needs to earn each shift and she always brings home at least that much, sometimes more. This practice of "creating reality" with our mind has also been tagged, "Viewing from the End". View the end results you desire first, hold steadfastly to that vision and it will manifest.
What you think about the most you begin to move towards, until you "become" it.

Our own mind is our own reality. What we take in through our senses shapes what we percieve as real. Our mind has other functions, though, called imagination. What we see in our dreams is a recount of what we have percieved in the physical and (I'm sorry if you don't believe in the supernatural, but,....you asked......) and spiritual realms. I have a thing with numbers, for example. I will wake up in the middle of the night and the clock says 1:11, or 2:22, or 3:33, etc I have no idea what it means but this happens to me.
A good thing that I have been doing is documenting my dreams and the nights that I wake up and see the numbers. Keep a journal next to your bed so that you can write them down. Your precognition can come from one of two places: (again, I'm sorry if you do not believe, but you asked....) 1: from God or one of His angels, or 2: from Satan or one of his demons.
I'm sure there are a lot of people who will disclaim both of the above based on science or even better, "today's spiritualism", but remember, there has not been any proof to disclaim God. It is by faith that we can come to God to ask Him what our dreams mean.
Joseph had dreams that changed people's lives. You can read about them in the Bible, the Old Testament. They are important and if you are like me, then you would like to know what they mean. Just ask God. There is nothing you have done that would reject your asking, He always loves you and wants your relationship. You just might be the next Joseph, leading a great nation (in Joseph's case, it was Israel) through a tough time.
Good question, it is very interesting how our minds work with both physical and supernatural around us everday.

our thoughts does not create our reality. our thoughts make something out of reality. with our thoughts we can determine what is a dream, from an ilusion, from a mirage, from reality. if our thoughts create reality you can eat air and thinking you ate a 5 star sandwich and survive on it for years. if thoughts create our reality then we can go to the stars and back without leaving planet earth. our thoughts does not create reality hence we get dreams at night and knowing it's a dream.

its called ;DEJA VU
The experience of déjà vu is usually accompanied by a compelling sense of familiarity, and also a sense of "eerieness", "strangeness", or "weirdness". The "previous" experience is most frequently attributed to a dream, although in some cases there is a firm sense that the experience "genuinely happened" in the past. Déjà vu has been described as "Remembering the future".theres even a recent movie, with the name deja vu
The experience of déjà vu seems to be very common; in formal studies 70% or more of the population report having experienced it at least once. References to the experience of déjà vu are also found in literature of the past, indicating it is not a new phenomenon. It has been extremely difficult to invoke the déjà vu experience in laboratory settings, therefore making it a subject of few empirical studies. Recently, researchers have found ways

It happens with me all the time. So now I make a point to tell my dream to someone just in case it happens just to show someone how creepy and real it is. I have also dreamt of things happening to me and ended up finding out it really happened a long time ago in the exact same way, same place.

Dude, are you on a permanent acid trip or something??! lol j/k, I know what your talking about. It's sort of like dejavu, except you know that it was in a dream, and not something you've done before. It's like you have a dream, life goes on, blah blah, it happens and then your mind says " Hey, this was in my dream awhile back"!

You're experiencing deja vu. But just because you think you dreamed something before doesn't mean you really did.

pure coincidence. you cannot make reality with your mind. (sorry)
you dream all kinds of stuff and when something happens that reminds you of your dream you say 'hey! I dreamt that 3 weeks ago!' doesn't mean you made it happen.

reality is more closely linked to social dialogue if you are speaking of reality of consciousness and of being conscious of something. Social dialogue can also be with oneself.
reality is a perception, i believe. I'm actually writing a chapter about it in my book.
