Me and my boyfriend have been together for a year and two months. We have never spent more than two days apart. He treats me like a princess, and i have every intention on marrying him one day. I just want to know when the "honeymoon stage" is over? Or is it already over? Ive heard its the first 6 months... what do you think?

The reason why im asking is because, although I have been with my boyfriend for over a year, i still get excited when i see him. We are planning on moving in together, but i dont want to if we are still in the "honeymoon period" incase its too much commitment for what stage in the relationshup we are in? Thanks for your help... (if it helps, im 19 & he is 23).

The honeymoon period can last 3-5 years. One year is enough time to know if you'd like to live together. Three years is certainly enough time to know whether marriage is the next step. Would put off having babies until youve been married a few years though...because 7 years seems to be crunch time for boredom to set in.

No matter what people tell you, you have to decide if you think it is time for you two to move in together.
