Ever see movies when robbers make people strip before they leave? Like in the movie Surrender where they left all the rich people naked, or Inside Man where they made the bank strip?
What purpose would this serve? A diversion of some kind?
Would you make the whole crowd strip down bare?

Considering the fact that most of the population have unattractive physiques, EWWW!! I would not do it, not even for a good laugh. It would be such a waste of time where I could be running away with the money as quickly as possible.

There are psychological disadvantages to the hostages when the robbers make them strip. The hostages will feel vulnerable, and they will not want to expose themselves naked to the people around. The hostages will probably be covering themselves up or try to hide away. So the robbers will have an easier time to make a quick getaway without resistance from the hostages. The robbers will also have a good view of naked chicks at the same time.

To make people feel vulnerable. Also if you dress everyone the same as the crooks then the cops have a worse time figuring out who the bad guys are.

would I do it? it would depend on the city, in Dallas yes as there are tons of hot chicks, Philly no to many fatties..
