I have two brothers that i am very close to.We are half greek, so for my first tattoo i was thinking something that symbolizes brother hood. But i also want it to have some greek meaning in it too, to make it unique.I want it on my left upper arm.

why do you think it has to "symbolize" brotherhood. why not get a tattoo that reminds you of you and your brothers. it doesn't have to be anything that other people would look at and think "wow, he must have brothers" for instance if you all love mountain climbing... you could get a very cool custom mountain tattoo. ANYTHING that you have in common you could get and it would be special and brotherly to you. as for the greek part, unless the commonality has to do with your greek heritage i would keep that a separate tattoo. i just got a tattoo that reminds me of my asian heritage that also represents my family but not necessarily my sister. just my family in general.

You could just have "adelfos" within the design, or have it as the main design in really decorative text. Lettering tattoos can be just as effective as pictures, I have a few of them. Or mix it with greek key designs, like a wrist band or armband or somethin! Or you could have a 3 way tri-key design or greek swirl design one for each brother and leave it at that, or circle the text "o adelfos mou" round it!

Trees are very symbolic and with the right tattooist it could be beautiful..... I'm picturing a Big tree with your names carved into it -makes sense with 'family tree' in a way -symbolizes strength and independence check out some of Paul Booth's work (he is GOD!!) he does some really nice work with nature pieces and shading....

The symbol for Gemnii (II or possibly pi) would be good, except there are three of you. How about a trident?
