I have a terra cotta clay sculpture that has had a clean break and I need to know how to repair it. What adhesive do I use and if possible, how do I use it? Thank you

Any adhesive that says it will work on terra cotta (or ceramics of any kind) will work. Follow the instructions provided. I have used a silicone adhesive called No More Nails to adhere ceramic tile to a terra cotta pot and it worked very well. Any brand of silicone adhesive should work though. The most important thing is to be sure to remove any excess that squeezes through to the surface with a damp cloth as it may dry white and shiny or clear and shiny but it will be shiny and will show. Silicone is water soluble until it dries and can be wiped away. Good luck.

Terra-cotta is air dried whilst most of the clay pots bought at backyard shops are kiln dried. . There are overlaps even with the undeniable fact that. I easily have seen Terra-cotta tiles that have been kiln dried. some people describe Terra-cotta as greater ornamental, yet then clay pots might properly be adorned as properly. . i exchange into instructed at a backyard save that the Terra-cotta pots have been greater good. i exchange into instructed by utilising a potterer that any element that's kiln dried is greater proper. yet clay pots are kiln dried at low temp in comparison to actual pottery and often Terra-cotta collectible figurines are kiln dried. . Do I sound at a loss for words? i'm, by way of fact i think of the two diverse words are getting used to describe an identical element!
