You can visit the base college education office. They will talk to you. No the military doesn't have financial help for family, but you can use other financial aid like PELL GRANT, and educational loans. Also at the college office will be representatives from different colleges that the base works with, usually local community colleges and universities.

Your education center on post will be the best place to look into things like this. The colleges that offer courses though your base will have special rates for military. The representatives will also be able to give you information for the aid available. You will still need to fill out your FAFSA to apply for school based aid, but you won't know unless you apply. Make sure to ask them (if they don't tell you) about AER. At least where I am they offer assistance programs for spouse education. The post where you're stationed might have local programs to apply for as well.
Good luck.

Probably lots of grants...go to the education center.

I have heard (in army times) that they are considering allowing the military member to transfer some of the GI Bill to their spouses....not sure when that will happen though.

There are no 'freebies' at the commissary. Lots of times things are cheaper on the economy.

You must definitely visit your installation Education Center.

There's a lot of information for the asking.

The Education Counselors will also assist you with what you're trying to get information for.

Give them a try.
