everything is so cheap, people are friendly to western look, great opportunities to be a millionaire in Beijing. Singapore is too small.

the two cities can't really be compared. Singapore is more developped than Beijing and the standart of living are way more higher there. Life is more expensive, salaries higher.
Maybe life in Hong-Kong and Singapore can be compared.

question is how different are they than any other bustling metropolis. I saw very little difference between Singapore & oh... new york city. I prefer the little villages where the people do not hate americans yet.
