Past studies have shown that green tea stimulates the immune system to fight disease," says Milton Schiffenbauer, Ph.D., a microbiologist and professor in the Department of Biology at Pace University's Dyson College of Arts & Sciences and primary author of the research. "Our research shows White Tea Extract can actually destroy in vitro the organisms that cause disease. Study after study with tea extract proves that it has many healing properties. Several findings in the new study are of particular interest:

Green tea is made from leaves of the tea bush and white is made from the buds. Green tea goes through very short oxidation process and white tea doesn't go through it at all. They are both rich in anti-oxidants. They both also have refreshing effect on you, only the white tea has stronger effect - but this I've heard only from a friend, who couldn't sleep for a night after drinking a few cups of white tea. I don't know if this would be the same on other people.

Although not 100% positive, I believe that white tea is simply young tea leaves that are harvested after they have sprouted. Green tea or sometimes referred to as "Jade Tea" takes on its greenish hue from the herbs and tea leaves that are mixed to make that particular style of tea. Green Tea is traditionally good for 'detox' as tea and caffienated beverages are diuretics that "flush" your system (promoting healthy kidneys). I have also read in several culinary magazines that Green Tea can aide in the reduction of cholesterol and stress.
Again, I must stress that I'm not an expert on the subject, but have seen this published in various culinary and health magazines. Hope this helps.

There is a study done that says Tea has things called Flaboids (spelling may not be correct). they noticed that people in areas were there was a lot of Mercury were eating fish and the people had no real build up in there body's, seems the Flaboids attract heavy metal's or something and it just flushes out of your system. also some people say that Tea is good for teeth (not colour). British people eat a lot of fried food and i think that the reason there are not more heart attacks is because they drink a lot of Tea and it breaks up the fats in the fried food...just a thought.

Green Tea is much healthy than white tea,because white tea added milk on it and Green Tea couldn't added milk.

I believe it is green tea, it has the most antioxidant agents from what I understand.
