Is there a diference in the THC levels?

Also, in state where you are allowed to grow for yourself: Can you use any seeds to grow or do they have to be distributed by the local/state government?

Street and medical marijuana are the same, except that more often stuff sold illegally will be cut (mixed) with other types of herbs to increase the weight or mass without using more of the costlier substance.

They can't check what kind of seeds you used. LOL

The fight is still on to the legality of medicial marijuana. It is used to supposedly to help patients with glaucoma. It is not legal anywhere that I know of to grow your own. I would think the THC levels are lower as "illegal growers" grow the stuff for the highest THC. But some stuff grown in Canada is the most potent, like five times potent

Medical weed legal. Street weed jail! LOL as for legal pot its so hard to get Montel Williams has been on this issue for yrs. Its a joke, the goverment is a pain in the a-- ! Only a handful of people r getting legal pot!!! This law needs to be changed now, it is so helpful for cancer patients as well as for people like Montel he has MS AND POT IS THE ONLY THING THAT HELPS HIS SEVERE PAIN. Also medicinal marijuana can be used in food, eaten with great pain or nausea benefits, seems from what I have read street marijuna does not work as well, unless its smoked, well alot of people do not want to smoke due to heath issues. What a shame we have so many people suffering when a weed that grows freely is against the law, guess the pharmacuticals cannot make enough money off marijuna, cant charge for studies etc. I always think what a money maker illness is! Pisses me off. is that why still no cures since polio? Oh this topic really gets to me, I lost so many friends and loved ones and watched them suffer needlessly. Thanks for your great question, hope I helped. And thanks for letting me vent!

the main distinction between street and scientific marijuana besides the purity of ways that's grown and marketed is that the scientific version is counseled/prescribed by a doctor. that's does not fall interior the "cope with your self" class like taking 2 Ibuprofen for a headache.

The difference is not necessarily in the marijuana or the way that it is grown, but in how it is used. Recreational marijuana users are looking for novel states of consciousness that are pleasant and interesting. Connoisseurs seek different highs for different circumstances and to create different moods.

Medical marijuana users seek varieties that either modify conditions such as nausea or glaucoma, or act as analgesics or as pain separators. People who use it for psychological reasons look for qualities that relieve their gnawing symptoms.

Often, patients seek milder varieties than recreational users, since they aren't interested in the same type of potency. They may prefer a variety that is potent in its treatment of their symptoms but delivers a milder psychoactive experience.

Eventually, researchers will find overlap between the recreational and medical qualities but specific varieties will be developed for various medical symptoms.

In California they have brand names, like cotton candy, and on the street they would all be green bud. If you have a growers license the government doesn't give you seeds. You can get them at your cooperative or clone your plants

medicinal marijuana is about mid-chronic level i think

in some states you are allowed to grow your own; the ammount varries per state. nothing close to a large ammount. usualy you obtain it from a medicinal marijuana distribution center. they grow large ammounts in secret locations since it is illegal for them to grow it, but it's legal for them to produce it. i know that sounds confusing, but the laws about medicinal marijuana are REALLY wierd.
