I have read some disturbing information recently that calls my previously held belief in global warming into question. Is there a website out there that presents both sides equally or are they all biased one way or the other?

Here's a couple of sources (online books) that are trying to look both scientifically and objectively at climate:

The problem is that the scientific community itself is not anywhere near balanced. 99+% of all climate scientists believe that global warming is real, that we are a major cause, and that it will cause major disruptions to agriculture and also cause coastal flooding.

There are a very few scientists who are skeptics and a large number of lay people who deny global warming for economic self interest and political reasons. Scientists find their arguments totally invalid, not backed up by any sound evidence. So your question is like this one. "I recently read some information that said the Sun revolves around the Earth. Is there a source that presents balanced scientific information about the evidence for that?" Well, no.

There was a survey of hundreds of scientific papers, every one from 1993-2003 that used the words "global warming". The number that said this was a natural cycle? Zero.

So there is no source that is "balanced" because the scientific information itself is not balanced.

About statements reported in the media such as the ones that disturb you, they said (and it's true):

"Such statements suggest that there might be substantive disagreement in the scientific community about the reality of anthropogenic climate change. This is not the case."

The article is two years old. In that time, the scientific consensus that global warming is real has become even stronger.

Read about the ice ages and how natural "global warming" dissolved them...before industrialization.

Hence, global warming is a normal occurence and Gore is a nutcase. He comes out with a fib about inventing the Internet, and now this.

Go to your local video store and rent "An Inconvenient Truth" on DVD. There you should find a lot of interesting and disturbing facts.

Check Wikipedia.com. I don't know what is on there, but I go there for anything I need to know.
