Dont get married or he will never be able to hear (or remember) another thing you have to say UNLESS it is "do you want seconds" at the dinner table!

First: Ask him why he thinks that what you said wasn't that important. Or maybe it was something you said that he has heard before? Second: Remember Communication is very important in a relationship. Here are some of the others things you might notice in your relationship that you need from your boyfriend for a solid relationship: Try following my 5 biblical principles:
1. Love: The Bible says: *“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-6
2. Honor: The Bible says:
* “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Romans 12:10
3. Cherish: The Bible says: * “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet Spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” 1 Peter 3:3-4
4. Trust:The Bible Says: * “ Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes always perseveres.” 1 Corinthians 13:7
5. Communication: The Bible says: * “ Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful, that it may benefit those who listen.” Ephesians 4:29

To Sum it up: Stick to 1. Love 2. Honor 3. Cherish 4. Trust 5. Communication and I promise if your relationship is based on these things you will know what its like to have true love! And Yes! I have used my principles myself and I am convinced I have found my soul mate. God Bless!

Well, I guess it would depend on how often he did it. If it was only once, I'd probably think he has other things on his mind and ask him to help me think of a good time to bring the issue up again. If he was doing it regularly though... I'd have the impression he wasn't really interested in pursuing and maintaining a good relationship with me and so I'd end the relationship.
