Is it: Soft running water, whispering, breath of sleeping people, light rain fall, low winds, anything. What makes you fall asleep in an instant?

tv. tv is excellent for putting people to sleep

i always leave my tv on. preferably on some marketing channel. i like their sublimal programming.

Sounds of the ocean. Sounds of the rain.
And sometimes, when the house is quiet, just the sound of the refrigerator running puts me to sleep.
