I didn't hear that one yet...
But there was that preacher who accused him of promoting homosexuality because him and the starfish kept holding hands. Now I think whoever came up with that one must be completely obsessed with gay sex.

They don't like spongebob because he's supposedly "gay". I don't like spongebob just cause I think the show is stupid. But a demon? that's going a little far, probably.

I gotta totally agree with the first answer. but I really don't like spongebob tv show that well but he is kind of one cute odd sponge to be one.

People are afraid of the unknown, so they tend to demonize it. Isn't sponge bob square pants a one dimentional figure?
