it may be caused by the blood rushing to your outer capillaries. When you drink (alcohol) people generally red in the face and skin and feel a sensation of warmth for this reason.
After a few more drinks your body may have had time to adjust.
The rash may be a heat rash or some sort of reaction to the alcohol.

There's a few different answers. What you are drinking, how often, when do you break out? After1 or 2 or 12-15?!? and your age, can all make a difference. Beer has yeast, that's what makes you bloat up when you drink too much. Wine is a grape, either red or white, it's still a grape & you have to be careful about fermented fruit juice-it affects all people differently. If you're drinking liquor-vodka, rum, gin, tequila - you could be allergic to the way it's distilled.

Sounds like an alcohol allergy.
Are you Asian? 50% of Asians have this... but other races do too.

It could be some type of allergic reaction to the alcohol and you just might not be noticing it after you have had a few.

Mine does the same thing, embarrasing sometimes..Its because when you drink it gets your circulation moving and blood flowing. I always turn red in my cheeks i hate it! Try drinking it more slowly ive noticed that help alot with me.

alcohol thins out your blood, so more gets to your face then normal (which is also what happens when you blush)
