I'm going to military school and my friends all said that I'm going to get raped when I'm there because I guess I'm pretty but it kind of made me not want to go anymore.

Harassed? Without a doubt.
Assaulted? Possibly, but not likely.
A better person for having gone through military training? Definately.
All of the other comments about being at risk at normal colleges are true. Plus, look at the bright side. After military training, you will be more in shape to protect yourself later on. If you prove yourself at the school, maybe guys will be afraid of you.

There are more instances of girls getting raped in colleges than in military schools. It just so happens that the ones that happen in military academies get all the attention.
You really shouldn't worry about it.

those are the numbers. i don't be responsive to if it is equivalent for all branches tho. i'm interior the AF and that i haven't seen something like this. I even have purely been in 2 years tho. and those numbers do not say that's committed by fellow provider members, the object merely provide examples of that. lss is right. You are probably more likely to get date-raped at a traditional university.

How dare you insult our troops. It seems you're stuck-up, yeah you won't last long in the military, I mean boot camp.
Like most people have stated you have a greater chance of being sexually assaulted at a four year stay at a college then a twenty year stay in the military.
