I would like to have the walls a reddish-orange color... almost a rust or terra-cotta color. What other colors would go with it?

You could use a softer oange color or more like a peachy color, or pale yellow would be cool too! Or bright, bright orange would be eye catching but you usually want quiet colors for bedrooms, so I would say the less vibrant the better for sleep purposes but you could always accent in the brighter colors, such as throw pillows on the bed or throw rugs on the floor etc... Don't be afraid to go to garage sales etc.. and buy old pictures or empty frames even and paint them to go with your colors that you choose!Get some paint charts from the stores and hold them against the main wall color to see how they go together. Have fun!!

I love your color choice. I would recommend going with a gold color in accent pieces. My comforter is a reddish/rust paisley pattern and the accents are gold colored.

Beige tones; blue tones (orange and blue are opposites on the color wheel, I think); gold; green; peach or apricot shades.

Gray metal or gray concrete, two neutral tones, are especially apt for creating modern ambience with a cutting edge feel.
