I don't know anyone who wants to go to war(except terrorists), where would this country be without it? Would there still be slaves??How did slaves gain freedom??war! War happens, and many agree not every war is one to be in, but what the dems want is for us to negotiate with everyone...I'm sorry, but that just doesnt work all the time...Does anyone wanna volunteer their neck to go "talk" things over with osama??

I assume you are talking about war in Iraq since that is the war most commonly criticized by liberals these days.

Your assertion that we would have 9/11 every week if we did not go to war in Iraq is dubious at best but most probably ludicrous.

Try spending some time separating reality from you imagination before you label others. You'll get moved to the adult table sooner.

Democrats are not looking for the glory that Bush is. There is no need for war if there can be a peaceful solution. Bush and his Iraq invasion have done more to cause instability in the world right now than anything else. He is more dangerous than Osama or Bin Laden put together. And if he wanted a fight.. why did he not go after Iran or Korea.. because he is Coward that's why.. He proved that when he was dancing away from Viet Nam. now he is trying to make up for it with the blood of our young people. Shame on him.

Have you ever sat down and tried actually thinking about how illogical what you just said is? We're not living in a G.I. Joe cartoon.

None of the 9/11 attackers was even from Iraq. There are terrorists in countries all over the world. Invading Iraq will do nothing about terrorists from Saudi Arabia (which the Bush family loves), Egypt, the U.A.E., Indonesia, etc., etc. Terrorists can be effectively stopped through police work. The British have shown this. It doesn't take a war.

Aggresive wars are illegal and the Iraq war has nothing to do woth 9/11. How many more times? Even Bush has had to admit that. Are you saying you are less intelligent than Bush?

Being in Iraq isn't what has stopped Terrorists from attacking us. Our initial invasion of Afghanistan helped a great deal, unfortunately we haven't put nearly as much focus on that war as we should. With only about 20,000 troops in Afghanistan, we are allowing the Taliban to gain power again. The best thing we can do to stop Terrorism is to follow the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission when it comes to stronger security in the U.S. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan didn't stop Terrorists from trying to blow up multiple planes coming from Britain. The only thing that kept those acts from happening was the British Governments Security in their Country. To think that by fighting in Iraq we will stop people from trying to attack us here is foolish. There will always be people who want to commit acts of Terrorism, it doesn't matter what we do. Fighting in Iraq has done nothing but increase the number of those people and stop us from being effective in Afghanistan.

What does war REALLY solve? Have you ever been in a war? Have you ever seen the actual repercussions of war? I have, and aside from making people hate the US even more, and want to blow us up even more, it does nothing. Yes, Saddam was evil, but the situation in Iraq isn't any better than when he was in office. Over 10,000 Iraqi civilians died last year. I was a medic when we first invaded. The people were happy, but skeptical. This time, I was a nurse, working in a hospital, then later I was in charge of training the Iraqi Army medics on how to be medics, and a VAST majority of the Iraqis hate us now. They feel like we are to blame. Did the Iraqi war solve anything, or make a bad situation worse?

Democrats love war. And before all you liberals out there give me the thumbs down consider this: FDR = WWII, Truman = Korea, Kennedy+Johnson = Viet Nam, Clinton = Bosnia+"regime change" with Adid in Somalia.

Also; Kerry, Edwards, Schumer & Hillary Clinton ALL VOTED TO GOT TO WAR IN IRAQ!!!!!!

The difference is, the media has forgiven them. Democrats love war when they wish to appear strong on national defense which is what kills them in national elections (see Jimmy Carter). But they love being anti-war when it becomes popular (see Robert Kennedy, John Kerry, Chuck Schumer & Hillary Clinton).

I find it shameful.

Perhaps they don't want to perpetuate the cycle of violence. War does not create peace, an obvious example being Iraq. More innocent people have died by american hands than those who died in 9/11. I think democrats, and everyone anti-war, value all human life (not just westerner's lives).

Also, maybe they don't believe war overseas will prevent terrorism in america.

You certainly had terrorist attacks every weeks before 9/11.
