Teflon is bonded with the metal of the pan, not really the same thing as food sticking.

Teflon does not stick to a pan, the pan is made of it, its an
ingrediant in the making of the pan.

PTFE is heated up, then poured over the aluminum, that has got a porous surface, than it polymerases, and creates a whole surface over the pan. Easy.
