"nothing" is referring to foods.
If you cook a pan in a teflon pan, the pan may stick to your teflon pan. LOL

Teflon is bonded with the metal of the pan, not really the same thing as food sticking.

Teflon does not stick to a pan, the pan is made of it, its an
ingrediant in the making of the pan.

Teflon can be etched with a chemical to make it stick almost to anything.

PTFE is heated up, then poured over the aluminum, that has got a porous surface, than it polymerases, and creates a whole surface over the pan. Easy.
