I received very good quote from eSurance on my 2 vehicles. My friends told me that sometimes insurance companies (especially those less expensive) can drop their clients after claim, which results in higher rate later on. Does anybody have any experiance with Esurance and their claim department. I can save a lot of money by switching to Esurance but if that's going to get me in trouble I'd rather stay with my currant provider and pay them more. Anybody experianced "droping" by the auto insurance company? Esurance have a lot of commercials on TV and radio but does that make them good? Any suggestions? Please give me any answers. Thank you!

Depending on your state determines if the insurance company can drop you for having claims. California can not--they can only drop you if you don't pay your bill.

My only experience with their claims department has been professional in nature. The adjuster I spoke with was clueless bur reasonable--this doesn't mean if you have a claim your adjuster will be either.

My suggestion is this: read the policy with eSurance to see what they cover/don't cover and then compare it to yours. If eSurance provides better/more coverage--go with them. If they don't, then don't switch. The bottom line with insurance: you get what you pay for. This comes down to the level of service you'll receive. And remember, you're dealing with people. My office is understaffed but MY priority is returning all phone calls received that day, as well as answering my phone--some adjusters have other priorities and don't return calls timely or answer their phone. Point is---it's not the company, it's the adjuster assigned to your claim you should be worried about.

I could cross with who ever is inexpensive. Esurance is a well organization, and I understand of them. I additionally understand of twenty first Insurance. If they each are supplying the identical coverage insurance policy, however esurance is inexpensive cross with them
