there's this guy that totally likes me and he's totally sweet and nice and awesome in every way--except that i don't like him. anyway, Valentine's day is coming up and i think he might send me a carnation or something cuz at my school, you can pay to have flowers sent to a person. anyway...should i tell him that i don't like him now, or should i just wait? how should i tell him? btw, i'm not 110% sure that he likes me, so it'll be really weird if i just go and reject him and he doesn't even like me...very complicated. help!!!

You're obviously uncomfortable with the idea of getting a flower from someone you don't have feelings for.
I understand why this might make you uncomfortable but imagine how uncomfortable the guy would be if you just randomly walked up to him in the cafeteria, hall way, commens, etc, and said "I don't like you so don't send me a flower" (or something similar.)
He'd be 100 times more uncomfortable than you and likely embarassed, too!! (especially if he WASN'T going to send the flower!)
The adult thing to do would be to ride out the holiday. Wait and see what happens and THEN make a decision.
If you DO get a flower, how about maybe sending him a "Thank you" note. Something like "Thanks so much for the carnation- that was sweet of you to think of me on this holiday." That is VERY polite and VERY adult.
If the guy feels like asking you out, don't be rude! :) enjoy the attention without leading him on. Be clear but NOT RUDE about your intentions.
Don't rule him out entirely, either. He sounds like a nice guy and it might not be entirely bad! :-)

dont reject him. Just go out with him and be friends with him. Look at it from his point of view. If he does send flowers, then send some back saying "sorry, I just want to be friends" so that its rejection, but not really in a nice way.

I suggest you talk to him about it now. Why wait? All you have to do is be honest. Believe me...even if you do break his heart he will appreciate your honesty and respect you for it. What's the worst that could happen? Don't be affraid just do it. You'll feel somuch better when you do, and so will he.

Go straight up to him and say "I heard a rumor that you like me." Now wait a moment for him to answer. If he says he does than tell him "Thats so sweet but I don't have similar feelings for you, sorry."

let him send you the flower (if he does ) and then after you can say to him sorry but i dont think that me and you would work out and then maybe someone else woud have sended you a flower and you can takke thatt!!! ( if you like him )

well u can wait see if he sends u ..and talk to him or u can confront ..him and casually mention.that u like someone else..or something.or u can ask him but it will be weird..so i dont know say "i know its strange but i think that u may like me..and well i just want to know b/c i dont feel the same way

oh man, i am sooo in you situation too, there's this guy that is like in love with me, but i just like him as a friend, and thats it. i would tell you to tell him you dont like him like that, but i dont think i would even be able to do it. so... if you flirt (not purposfully, but as a reflex) just stop doing it. send him messages that show him your relationship is STRICTLY platonic. thats what i'm going to start doing!
