Just be honest with him. Chances are if he get's out and you are convincing yourself that you will will break it off then. BS! Then your really going to feel bad for him. Do it now and he'll have time to recover in there. Good Luck!

Don't stop caring about you.

Truly, you should just end it next time you see him, I mean he probably won't care for all that we know! Even though, he might feel lonely just do it! It's the right thing, and the plus side, you can if you want get a new man, instead of that James! Just think about it! I'm very sorry if this didn't help!!!

Well I think you are makinga good (positive) decision here. And I believe the BEST way for you to do it is to cut it off here and now while he is in jail. I say this as with him being locked up he won't be able to contact you and this in itself WILL give him time to let things go. I would also suggest a dear John type letter. If you do it in person you don't want him going off in jail as he will end up in lock down. Also in a letter you can explain yourself fully without him trying to sway you. BUT stand by your decision and do not back down for ANY reason. Good Luck.

I would break up with him now. It was his decision to do what he did. He needs to realize that there are other people in the world. You cared about him but he did no care about you enough to get himself out of trouble. You don't need his baggage. You sound like you have thing figured out and your right, you don't need his influence. It's your life don't let his decisions effect yours. You deserve better.

Do it as soon as possible. Its not ur duty at all to feel pity for him. Once he got out from jail, you might want to change ur mind again.
Find someone better.
