Calico Bean Casserole has been a hit in my family. Great way to use a variety of beans.
CALICO BEAN CASSEROLE
1 can lima beans
1 can pork and beans
1 can butter beans
1 can kidney beans
1 pound hamburger
1 pound bacon
3 onions, chopped
1/3 Cup vinegar
3/4 Cup brown sugar
1 Tablespoon dry mustard
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Drain off about half the juice from the beans and place beans and rest of juice in larger casserole bowl. Brown hamburger, drain off grease and add to casserole. Dice and fry bacon. When almost done, drain off most of the grease. Add chopped onions and fry until translucent. Add vinegar, brown sugar and dry mustard; simmer 20 minutes. Pour over bean and stir. Cover and bake 2 hours.

I,m assuming you want to know a main dish to use up left over baked beans, the calico bean recipe given earlier is a good one.you can just precook the meat and then heat after mixing it in the beans. something i like to do is take a spicy sausage(in links).precook them, slash diagonally3 times across the sausage , lay on top of the beans and finish cooking them in the oven.or if you re in a hurry Ive used hot dogs.serve with green salad and crusty rolls.

Combine 6 eggs, 5 cups of vinegar, 2 cups of ketchup, one bottle of hershey's chocolate syrup, and 3 tablespoons of salt. Blend this all in a blender. Combine the blended ingredients with 3 cans of baked beans. Bake all this for 35 minutes at 375 degrees.
Set this aside. Brown 2 pounds of hamburger, 2 pounds of chopped liver, and 1/2 pound of beef brain. Put the browned meet on top of the baked ingredients.
Enjoy!

you can never go wrong with skillet beans. you just take some ground beef and cook it up in a skillet then drain the grease and add in your baked beans until they get hot and add your choice of seasonings

a friend had a luau themed party and i made a dish that was very simple and really very good. smoked sausage ( like hillshire farms ) cut into bite sized peices, canned baked beans and drained pineapple chunks. mix it all together and bake at 350F for about 45min.
