That's a broad generalization. Granted, there are some evangelicals with a lot of political clout, but that doesn't mean every single one agrees with their actions.
I have no problem with evangelicals and their religion; just when they try to make other people follow their rules.

The world will go the way the world will go... evangelicals do not have as much control over that as you give them credit for...
Governments control the wind of politics and it's ever shifting dynamic there in...
Disaster is already upon us read your bible it will tell all you need to know about the end times... i am an Evangelical, i am not in a rush to disaster, i have no blood on my hands... Thank you
Do not judge the actions of a few on the many.... some are just sitting back and watching the world go out of control and praying that it gods will..."it's kind of like watching another person have a car wreck"

If you are talking about whack jobs like Jack Van Impe then I think you may have a point.
If you talk about earnest, people who try and promote the fact that Jesus died for your sins and mine, then you need to be selective on who you slander.
I do agree that there are some people out there that try to say they know the date and hour of the world's demise, they are nuts. And generally when they set a date, it comes and goes.
So, don't hate all Christians, but do be careful about the ones you listen to. Most true Christians are more concerned about trying to help you stay out of Hell than they are trying to rush doomsday ahead.

They have their point os view as does everyone else. The President needs to be concerned with governing for all people, not just the big mouth evangelicals.

I think you are painting with a very wide brush. The term "evangelical" encompasses a huge portion of Christians. I regret your premise as being flawed. It seems to me that you are taking the views of a very few and applying them to the many.
