I've looked everywhere I can think of to find lemon curd in the grocery store, but haven't had luck finding it. Can someone tell me where to look? If not the grocery store, where can I buy it?

It's usually found in a more-upscale grocery store, near the jams and jellies.

Hello, I usually stock up on Lemon Curd when I go to visit my family in Connecticut at: The Christmas tree Shop.
Your grocery can also order it for you, go to customer service and ask the manager, I frequently order items I can't find at the Publix supermarket here in Florida. Or go to Amazon.com: Crosse & Blackwell Lemon Curd: Three jars: Gourmet Food Price $10. for 3 , not a bad price.
Good Luck.

I guess it would depend on where you live, but I can find it at all of my local grocery stores in with the jams & jellies. Dickinsons make a great lemon curd (other flavors too). Go to this website to find a store in your area:

You can also buy it online at:

You did not mention where you are living. I have found lemon curd at Ralph's / Kroger stores, Stater Bros, Von's / Pavillions. It seems to be more common than it used to be.

You might find it at Whole Foods or try going to a specialty store. There are some in places near where I live where the shop owner caters to British clients. Williams-Sonoma online or in their catalog used to carry it.

hi dncr4mom! i luv lemon curd, especially with scones! best place to buy lemon curd is Trader Joe's or Cost Plus. i make my own and am featuring this recipe in my next video podcast:

1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons finely shredded lemon peel
¼ cup lemon juice
¼ cup butter
2 beaten eggs

In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar and cornstarch (pulvarize the cornstarch and sugar- no lumps!). Stir in lemon peel and lemon juice. add butter. cook while stirring constantly until thick and bubbling.

Stir half the lemon mixture into the eggs (to temper). Pour egg mixture back into pan. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Cover with waxed paper. Cool. Makes 1 cup sauce.
