I firmly believe that if the unrest in Iraq and Iran were left of their own accord, sort to speak, that the virus that exists there will grow and grow till it not only destroys them, but will take many of us down with them....example,
World Trade Center
Pentagon
Flight 93
Anthrax threat
and so on....and that's only in this country....
I, ,for one support President Bush...if it means more troops, so be it....in closing, I have no hatred for the peoples in these countries...I believe they are hard working, em passioned people that have been used and abused for too long....it's sad that the "hanging" to which you refer happened the way it did, no execution is a pleasant thing...justified, yes, but can never be made "pretty". The US and allies have a duty to ultimately save and preserve....I believe that Bush knows we all could self destruct if not policed...that includes our so called enemies....we really must see the bigger picture..

Off course it dose, it is not only matter of taking revenge from Muslims, but also a game played by Americans and their European fans, that is why they always have to live in fear and horror.
It is almost four years that Iraq has been invaded, but still no weapons of mass destruction have been found, so if there is an impartial and justified UN, so no of the culprits like Bush and Rice have not been charged for it?
Half a million innocent women and children were killed by the sanctions of UN in Iraq and another half million has died after invasion of Iraq by US and its terrorist allies.
Who is ready to answer for them?
The only way is to pray for safety of O B L………….

I am very happy today. Well they should have ripped his p e n i s off and stuffed it in his mouth also. your religion is nothing but war and terror and hate so this pig got what he had coming, and I hope he's getting more were he is at. Yes there are 70 virgins waiting for him and they are all gay men with hard ons the size of cruise missles. If you want peace find a different religion that doesn't preach war and terror and hate.

I don't think this was botched because it got the job done. Sorry Zaid is sad as well as other Muslims, but they cannot be as sad as some of the victim's families who endured worse sadistic torture and agonizing deaths by this man and his half brothers.

This is from the same country where some people's heads are hacked off with a sword. The idea of hanging is barbaric, but it exists when you have a culture that is so focused on death. All the senseless killing must stop.

There is no doubt that Bush intends to intervene in a civil war militarily, getting a lot of people on both sides. This now is a war about power and religious factions, not terrorism!
Bush intends to escalate the war and I assume the other side will as well!

Capital punishment, extremely the brutal and vindictive variety happening in Iraq, does not communicate properly for a international which considers itself "Civil." yet you may't assume plenty from an Iraq whose people have time-honored not something, on condition that its formation after international I, yet suppressive governments and violence. and of path, united states of america that's the only united states of america in the Western international to have Capital punishment, even though abolished by utilising the great State of Massachusetts as properly as others, isn't one to set an occasion for civil habit. i've got not got self assurance united states of america has adjusted its coverage by utilising this so-referred to as "surge" concerning Iraq yet following an identical defective path which has failed miserably for that reason a techniques with the destiny offering greater of an identical different than with greater suitable American casualties and financial value. those executions shouldn't in any respect ensue, in spite of the timing, even although people who have been achieved, Saddam, his 0.5-brother, and that different nut have been approximately as evil as you will ever think of. President Bush, if not stopped by utilising the Congress and the yank people is set to proceed this "conflict" properly into the subsequent administration with a view to blame its failure on a destiny President. undergo in ideas, till these days and after the two the Senate and homestead fell into Democratic arms, President Bush had under no circumstances admitted to a "mistake" even though his administration has been riddled with them for the previous 6 years and maximum probable for 2 greater.

I am sad I dwell in the midst of an evil nation whose leaders are lovers of riches and willingly lie to start a war at the cost of so many harmed people worldwide for the purpose of trying to secure business in oil and security industries overseas. I think the war will escalate as American and the Puppet Govt knock down Iraqi citizens doors and inflict violence and violations on the Iraqi people who refuse to give them tribute, ie favor. I pray to my Christian Hebrew God for you people, you fight our Antichrist Mr Bush who is an especially wicked antichrist, maybe even the greatest last one. My Lord God and Christ his son do not hate upright people rather they are Christian, Hebrew, or Islamic, Buddist or Wiccan, the practices of the prophet Islamics revere are not evil in my sight and in my belief everyone is a prophet of God so I do not contest him being one at all, I believe he is, please understand though, I myself am a Christian Pagan Hebrew in my faith.

Were you mad when the innocent people were beheaded intentially?
Were you mad to see your brothers tortured in Iraq during the Hussein regime?
Did you care about the mistreatment of women in this country during the Hussein regime?
Were you mad when he gased the kurds?
Based on Human Rights Watch, maybe you should focus internally first. Although as far as the region goes, Yemen is not too bad.
People always say the terrorists attacks against the US are due to US foreign policy. Thier execution is kharma coming back to get them.
KABUL, Aug 14 (AFP) - The hardline Taliban Friday publicly executed a murderer and amputated limbs of two robbers amid shouts of "God is the Greatest" at the Kabul stadium, witnesses said.
Thousands of Taliban soldiers and citizens, including women, watched the proceedings.
The murderer squatted and after his face was covered with a pink mask he was shot dead by the father of the man allegedly killed by the accused earlier this year.
Later a team of surgeons wearing blue masks chopped off right hands and left feet of two men convicted of highway robbery.
The surgeons amputated the limbs after anaesthetizing the convicts and left the severed limbs on the ground for the spectators to rush and have a close look.
The three were convicted by a military tribunal created by the Taliban supreme leader Mulla Omar to deal with criminal cases under the Islamic Sharia law.
Taliban, who now control almost three-quarter of Afghanistan, have enforced punishments in public under the Islamic law which they say helped deter and curb criminal acts.
This is how the culture is and you are well aware of it. Public executions are the norm and the fact that these people were not publically hung is surprising. It does not fit with Western culture but it is very effective in the Middle East.
The executions
According to the Yemeni daily Al-Ayyam (21 November 2002) some 15,000 to 20,000 people gathered on 20 November in the city Aden. They had come to see the execution of three men: ‘Abd al-Wareth Saleh Ahmad, Khaled Yahya ‘Abdullah al-Yami, and Nasser Muhammad Hiba. ‘Abd al-Wareth Saleh Ahmad was convicted of the rape and murder of Saber 'Ali Ahmad, aged 6, whose body was discovered on 16 July 2000. Khaled Yahya ‘Abdullah al-Yami and Nasser Muhammad Hiba were convicted of the kidnapping, rape and murder of Mazen Ahmad Qahtan Murshed, who was aged 6 at the time of his abduction in December 1997. Amnesty International does not have any details of the trials at which they were convicted.
On 20 November police cars brought the prisoners to the execution site. The police cars were accompanied by an ambulance which carried the doctor who was part of the execution team. The first prisoner taken from one of the cars was Khaled Yahya ‘Abdullah al-Yami. The judge read out the judgement to him and asked him if he wished to say anything, but he responded in the negative. He was then made to lie down flat facing the ground among bags of sands to prevent the ricochet of bullets. The executioner fired three shots, aiming at a sign drawn by the doctor on the body of the prisoner. However when the doctor examined him, he found him to be still alive and ordered the executioner to shoot a fourth time. A further two shots were fired after which the doctor pronounced him dead.
Then from a second car, Nasser Muhammad Hiba Fatli was taken to the execution site where he was killed by four gunshots. Then the two bodies were carried to the ambulance for removal. The third prisoner, Abdel Warith Salah Ahmad, was executed in a similar manner.
Women from the family of the two children killed were reported by the newspaper to have "shown their happiness by ‘youyous’ [a celebratory noise made in the throat]" according to the Al-Ayyam report.
If it is works for Yemen why not Iraq.
