The cursor freezes frequently. I have to reboot my PC several times a day. What is the problem? I run almost everyday anti-virus program. Could it not be virus infection?

When this happens to me I Control+Alt+Delete to close the program then reopen. Sometimes we type too quickly, issue commands too close together and the system gets confused.

Also, don't overload your RAM. Set wallpaper and screensaver to blank and in startup - load only those programs you intend to use daily.

Had this problem a lot with HP TC1000 tablet pc. Tablet overheats cause it's a bad design. MB has temp rating of 95 degrees F max, and the exhaust is over 110 degrees F. Get a meat thermometer & measure the output temp of the exhaust if it's a laptop & see if it's too hot.
