noooo! I'm 5'2 and weigh 120 and i have an atheletic somewhat lean body. I'm a size 2. So therefore, if you are 5'8 and are only 30 pounds heavier with 6 inches..you are not overweight!! You should weight at the least 140 at the most 160. (this is a healthy weight) However if you weighed 140 you would get a higher metabolism and feel better about yourself! Hope this helps beautiful girl!!

No 150 is a healthy weight. If you were over 160 then maybe you would be overweight.

it is truly difficult to say if someone is overweight by just Height and Weight..... that does not take in consideration of muscle mass, or bone mass... Just make sure your active and work out and eat as healthy as u can.... 150 doesnt seem too heavy for 5'8" but there is always room for improvement

You sound all right to me. In fact you sound deliciously just right. A lot depends on your stature. Are you "flabby" or muscled? A lot depends on that. Either way, don't sweat the small stuff. If you're happy...it doesn't matter.

you are probably slightly, but not very overweight. a lot of it has to do with your body type. and if you have muscle.
dont listen to anyone who tries to tell you to use the body mass index (BMI) even doctors say it is inacurate.
if you're worried, talk to your doctor, or just to be healthy, make sure you eat all the food groups, dont overeat, and get a good amount of exercise.

No, not at all. You'd have to weigh over 165lb to be considered overweight. HTH : )
