I'm in almost all of his courses and hang out with him all the time, but mostly as a group. I remember him saying once that he likes it when the girl makes the first move but i'm terrified he doesn't feel the same way. I'm enjoying what we have now but want to know if there is more. Just a side note, i'm a christian so it's not like i'm going to throw myself at him to get his attention. I want an answer that is reasonable and won't end our friendship.

If he told you directly that he likes a girl to make the first move, than there is a very big chance that he was talking about you. Remember that guys are dumped on a lot by girls all the time. It gets to a point where they are afraid to express themselves because girls don't understand that guys have very sensitive emotions. too. What he said by girls making the first move is, "I don't want to be told no, so I want the girl I like to tell me that she likes me first. Then I don't have to be afraid of rejection."
Don't take this as a signal to go after him, but it will help your confidence.
What you should do is ask him out in a safe way. If things look good, then you can proceed.
An example might be to go somewhere he likes. Show that you like to be close to him. Maybe hold hands or something and see how he reacts. If it doesn't work, your friendship is still safe.
The most important thing to remember is that he might be afraid, too. It might take a little time. If he is worth it be patient, but done hesitate to act if you feel things are right.

this one is easy. its like this. you say he likes it when the girl makes the first move. even though you are shy, you have to break that barrier. go up to him one day, and in between the conversation, squeeze in something along these lines: "HEY (NAME), DO YOU THINK YOU MIGHT WANNA GO OUT WITH ME ON (DAY)? LIKE A DATE?" you dont have to say those exact words of course, but you'll want to be prescise and go right to the point, looking straight into his eyes. dont worry about blushing, as embarrassing as it might feel for you,guys think its cute when girls do it. keep in mind that even if he wants to stay just friends, he'll still respect you for being so bold as to make that move. and if he's a nice, he'll be flattered by it instead of repulsed. if it doesnt work out the way you'd like to, be sure to mention that you'd "still like to be friends". and if by any chance the answer you want, is given, you'll be happy you took the chance. :)

try to hav less of the group hang outs, and more of just the two of u activities. it can be about studies, to start with. and may be followed up by perusal of common hobbies.

from a fellow christian, just tell him the truth. if he values your friendship, then if you say soomething and it turns out he doesnt like you, then it wont ruin evrything. just be honest. its the best way to go!!!!!!!!!!!

wear something really sexy and just strut past him and see what happens...the key is confidence. have your friends spy on him to get his reaction because if you look back then it doesnt even work :)

get him somthing for valentines day. or invite him to go to the movies with you and your friends. those things will get his attention.
