LOVE IT! It is definitely a great product. A couple of my friends have tried it and it has worked for them too. The only thing is that sometimes people experience a little bit of dry skin--but it's not bad at all.

I agree with $0.02 and it wouldn't surprise me if Proactiv ruined P. Diddy's skin.
There are some natural products on the market that probably better, and have less negative results.
Proactiv did not work for me. I have very sensitive skin and I had a bad reaction to it.
I knew that my skin was sensitive so I used very little cream. Other than starting the Proactiv program (cleanser, toner, and cream), my regimen was the same.
For the first couple of days, I was fine. There was no improvement but my skin didn't worsen either. After a week, my skin felt terrible. It felt very unnatural and tight. It was rough (like sandpaper) and very itchy. The reaction that I had to Proactiv was similar to allergic reactions that I've had to some food and antibiotics.
One thing that I found really strange was that it caused patches of my skin to become thinner. I turned blotchy and my skin was really raw. Some areas were even peeling (as if I were sunburned). Even makeup couldn't cover it. It was like Proactiv burned away parts of my skin. It was awful.
I tried to continue using it for a while. I wanted it to work. I bought a moisturizer. I even skipped a day in between applications. My skin still stayed extremely irritated. After another week, it just became unbearable. I had to stop using it.
It took a month for my skin to return to normal (I think that's because it takes a person's body around 30 days to regenerate a new layer of skin cells). I made sure not to use any sort of acne medication during this time. I used a natural skin calming lotion/moisturizer and it really helped soothe my skin. I don't remember the name of it but it was by Aloette.
I think it was the salicylic acid that bothered my skin. Any products that contain salicylic acid seem to really irritate my skin.
If you have skin that isn't overly sensitive, then it is worth a try. However, if you have sensitive skin, stay FAR away from Proactiv!
I suggest that you look up natural products that heal acne. Some have been used for centuries to beautify and heal skin.
One product that I am particularly interested in is Dead Sea Mineral Salts (you can buy them from a spa or specialty stores online). They are made of pure minerals from the Dead Sea, in the middle east, and have been used for over 2000 years.
I don't know how well they work but I'd rather use that than I bunch of chemicals and harsh ingredients.
Do some research. Look up ingredients and testimonies (both good and bad) from users.
I hope you find a good product that works!

Pro Activ is the only thing that has ever worked for me. I have used just about EVERYTHING and Pro Activ is amazing. It took a little while to work, but I've gone from being acne ridden to completely clear. I would reccomend it to anyone.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin. Holistic Acne Treatment Guide?

Yes, I use ProActive twice a day and it works!! You just need to give it some time. At first, I thought it wasn't working but then I started seeing improvements within the next few months and now it's all nearly gone! By the way, ordering off the internet is the best way to get the best price ;)

i bought it for my teenage daughter when she was 15ish. It helped the overall appearance of her skin, but she had to continually use it with no lapses. However, I took her to the dermatologist and found out her acne was more involved than ProActive could solve for her. She is taking pills and applies an anti-biotic cream to her face everyday. The Doctor recommended her to still use the ProActive line for cleansing if she choose to. This has helped her 100% more than ProActive. My suggestion is to get advice from your Doctor, they can direct you on what is best.
Good Luck.

I have used Proactiv and it really worked. I was skeptical at first but after all of the testimomials I had to try it. Some claim that it doesn't work but I am a true and devoted user of proactiv. My skin was kind of oily and dry at times until Proactiv. I would recommend Proactiv to family, friends and anyone who is skeptical about using it. I am truly devoted to Proactiv.

I tried it and it made my skin worse. its expensive to keep using. now i go to a wal mart or target and get face wipes that remove makeup they are about 2 dollars for 15 wipes, my face cleared up in about 3 days it works wonders, it shows you that you don't have to spend 60 dollars to clean your face...plus it takes forever to do all the steps

Yes I have, and no it doesn't. My skin has still not quite recovered from the breakout. Stick to good plain water, and occassionally a mild soap for exfoliation.
oh yeah, don't forget, Puff daddy (former spokeman) sue proative cause it broke his skin (I heard)
