Ever Clean Extra Strength Premium Clumping Cat Litter claims to be 99.9% dust free but it puts out more dust than most other brands I have used. It ticks me off that I paid a premium price for that brand. I am still looking for a brand of clumping litter that produces very little dust.

World's Best Litter. It never smells and it is all natural which means it is flushable. So that way, whenever the litter box starts to get full, you can just scoop, and flush. It has no harsh chemicals that can irritate, and it does not produce much dust. We sell it at Petco, it comes in a yellow bag. All of our customers reccommend it, as well as I do!

I agree it's a little more dusty than their claim of 99.9%. However, it is the only litter I've found that has almost no smell to it. It doesn't have that perfumey smell that most have. It doen't leave any urine smells behind either. I just have to scoop daily and don't have to worry about complete litter changes for along time because there is no harsh smell. That's with 3 cats. So I pay the premium price. Mine did not like worlds best cat litter. Ever Fresh changed names to Ever Clean. The carbon really works.

I like Tidy Cat Scoop For Small Spaces. I have tried everything. I have three cats and three kids with asthma. This has the least dust, and it is very effective. Also, I use a HEPA air purifier, that really seems to help.

Remember you can use LOWER cost alternate litters. Go to any farmers supply store and look for those wood pellets for stoves, or for a large bag of chicken feed. Both are acceptable litter substitutes and are far far less in cost than traditional litters. Plus they break down in the soil better when disposed of.

hi there,
well i think that most have some dust its just how it is. but once you fill up your litter tray you can just use a spray bottle with water in it and spray the litter once you have put it in this will lower the amount of dust!!! may be a cheaper way of doing things

"Fresh Step Scoopable" with added carbon is the only brand that seems less dusty. Another brand, "Ever Fresh" was better (and more expensive), but is no longer available. Clorox makes "Fresh Step," and lists a toll free contact number on the containers.

Word's Best. It's corn based, virtually no dust and better for the cats too!

I use the TIDY CAT SCOOPABLE brands. I find they have the least amount dust (which I hate).
I use the multi-cat formula's and the GREEN label anti-bacterial when I can find it.
