Me and my wife are very environmental conscious, we recycle like crazy. We just sold our car to buy a Toyota Hybrid car wich we are going to convert to hybryd/electric, this will be our car for long trips.
I am also going to buy this electric car http://www.zapworld.com/ZAPWorld.aspx?id=188
for my daily commute. This little cute care is only $10k, I have done a lot of research on electric cars and as of now, this one fits my budget and it is perfect for me to take it to work since I only drive an average of 20 miles every day. I recomend you watch the movie who killed the electric car and also the al gore movie in inconvenient truth to open your eyes about recycling and contributing to stop global warming.
Cheers and let's save the planet !!!

We have florescent bulbs all through our house. I tell ya though, even if everybody did all they could you really think that would be enough to stop it? Look at all the malls and huge buildings that house our stores. Do they practice energy saving techniques? No, there walls are thin and heat escapes all the time. to make a real difference the gov't would have to enforce real changes in industry and guess what that aint never gonna happen. I am all for doing whatever I can but don't be fooled, it doesn't make as big as difference and they say it will. The gov't uses global warming as a big hot topic, like Gore, for instance, to get political attention. If they are truley concerned they would be acting for get more change.

Install solar energy and wind energy. purchase the new electric car to come on the market in 2010 by GM. I do not use aerosol sprays and I walk and take mass transportation.
Grants are available as well as tax breaks for installation for businesses for alternative energy conservation installation. They practically pay for themselves. Some state and Federal Government programs allow up to $25,000.00 for public and non profit organizations credits. Business can reap up to 35% tax breaks depending on state governments funding available. Farmers get Federal Farm Bureau and Agricultural Grants to save on Thermal Energy for heating hot water and homes.
